Georgia Chamber applauds Ernest Greer’s new appointment at Greenberg Traurig


The Georgia Chamber congratulated its immediate past Board Chair Ernest Greer on Greenberg Traurig’s announcement that he will be named Co-President.
“As Georgia Chamber Board Chair, Ernest provided the vision to successfully launch our Georgia2Georgia initiative creating jobs and strengthening investment in our state.  He was also instrumental in developing relationships with new Georgia Chamber investors to broaden our reach and influence,” said Georgia Chamber President and CEO Chris Clark.  “Ernest Greer has long served as a talented leader in the business and legal community.  We congratulate him on this new role at Greenberg Traurig where he will be able to make an even greater positive impact.”
During Greer’s Georgia Chamber Board Chairmanship, he led many initiatives, including Georgia2Georgia, to boost the state’s economy by encouraging businesses and governments to do more business in the state of Georgia.  Greer was also at the helm of the organization when CNBC, Site Selection Magazine and Area Magazine ranked Georgia the top state in the nation to do business.
Greer’s practice at Greenberg Traurig consists of representing clients in various complex litigation matters including a wide range of trial experience.  He is the recipient of numerous legal awards and has been named among the 100 Most Influential Atlantans by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Top 100 Lawyers in Georgia by Super Lawyers magazine, and the Best Lawyers in America in the categories of mass tort litigation/class actions.
