Tom Brady slammed on social media after 4-game suspension upheld by NFL

NEW YORK — NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell deflated the hopes of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots nation when he upheld the still four-game suspension he originally handed down for reportedly cheating prior to the AFC Championship game vs. the Indianapolis Colts in January.
The footballs were found to be lower than legal league standards and equipment managers close to Brady were found to be guilty of deflating them. Most believe the lower-rung equipment managers operated at the behest of their quarterback, Brady.
In a scathing, damning 20-page ruling, Goodell said the Hall of Fame quarterback-to-be and four-time Super Bowl champion “willingly obstructed the investigation” and also “participated in a scheme to tamper with evidence by destroying his cell phone” that most likely contained key information and communication between the quarterback and the equipment managers to purposely deflate the footballs on at least one occasion.

Most of the investigators and sports pundits believe, along with many players in the NFL, that the practice of deflating the footballs have been ongoing for years.
NFL observers and reporters were flustered as to why it took five weeks for Goodell to render his decision, one that has massive ramifications for the New England Patriots and the rest of the division and conference. Brady will miss the first four games of the season and must rely on an untested backup QB to steer the offense.
Of course, most observers believe Brady will file a lawsuit to have a judge overturn the ruling. The NFL Players Assocation (NFLPA) will argue that Goodell overstepped his parameters in handing down the appeals decision after he was the one who also gave the original punishment to Brady.
Twitter and fellow players have a lot to say on the matter. Take a look.
