Atlanta in top 10 for commercial real estate demand

Atlanta experience a sizable boon in tenant demand for commercial real estate, which corresponded with the ascension of renting throughoutt the country, according to a prominent real estate firm.
DTZ said the demand for real estate space rebounding in more than 70 percent of the country during the second quarter of 2015.
The city of Atlanta was named in the top 10 strongest markets in terms of demand for space, the firm says.
The Top 10 cities in real estate demand, according DTZ report for Q2 2015:

  1. San Jose, Calif., 3.8 million square feet
  2. Dallas, 1.5 million square feet
  3. Oakland, Calif., 1.4 million square feet
  4. Los Angeles, 1.2 million square feet
  5. Atlanta, 993,000 square feet
  6. Phoenix, 850,000 square feet
  7. Raleigh-Durham, N.C., 828,000 square feet
  8. Philadelphia, 723,000 square feet
  9. New York, 709,000 square feet
  10. Chicago, 525,000 square feet
