The Georgia Department of Labor said the state’s jobless rate rose slightly to 6.3 percent.
The GDOL stated that the state’s jobless rate was 7.3 percent in May 2014.
State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler said in a statement that Georgia continues to show strong job growth.
