Gospel Music Workshop
MAY 20—The Greater Allegheny Choral Chapter will host its Gospel Music Workshop from 7-9 p.m. at Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church, 6556 Shetland Ave., East Liberty. The four-day event, which will run through May 23, will include rehearsals and a concert on May 23 at 5 p.m. Dinner and a breakfast will be provided during specific rehearsals. AUBA Workshop/Banquet
MAY 23—The AUBA will host an Informational Workshop from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 6940 Frankstown Ave., Homewood. This workshop is an opportunity to have questions answered about the historical, spiritual and educational growth of the AUBA. Breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m. There will also be a Laymen’s Banquet held May 24 at 5 p.m. at the Georgetown Inn in Pleasant Hills. For more information, call 412-687-2749.
