Reverend Dr. Herbert V. R. P. Jones was honored at his Pre-Installation Celebration on March 14. He will be elevated to the elite position of minister and director of music at Bethany Baptist Church Of Pittsburgh. The event was held at the Pentecostal Temple COGIC in East Liberty.

Reverend Dr. Jones, an ordained minister of music, is executive assistant to the academic dean of the Academic Division of The Gospel Music Workshop of America and is known for conducting music seminars and workshops as well as guest conducting and adjudicating choral festivals and competitions.
He is also the founder and director of the Heritage Gospel Chorale of Pittsburgh.
