Method Man, who came to fame in the 1990s via the seminal rap group Wu Tang Clan, said what others may be thinking privately but didn’t dare utter publicly: While he called the cowardly shooting of two Ferguson police officers “sad,” he also said it was a case of “you reap what you sow.”
The esteemed rapper also said the report disseminated by the Justice Department detailing a systematic and twisted web of abuse of minorities by the mostly white police force and the legal and political system may have contributed to the overflow of angst and anger at police by the deranged shooter.
