A Celebration of Community
MARCH 7—East Liberty Presbyterian Church, 116 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty, will host “Many Voices, One Song—A Celebration of Community” at 4 p.m. This collaborative concert will feature four diverse choral ensembles of more than 150 singers. Fellowship Prayer Breakfast
MARCH 14—The Women’s Ministry of Bethlehem Baptist Church, 716 Walnut St., McKeesport, will host its I Am My Sister’s Keeper Women’s Fellowship Pre-Women’s Conference Prayer Breakfast at 10 a.m. The theme is “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” This is an opportunity to receive God’s blessings while enjoying fellowship with sistahs in Christ. Winter Extravaganza
MARCH 14—Rodman Missionary Street Baptist Church, 6111 Rodman St., East Liberty, will host its Winter Extravaganza from 6-11 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel, 777 Aten Rd., Coraopolis. Gumbofest
MARCH 15—The Afro American Music Institute will host its Louisi-Ann’s Gumbofest at 4 p.m. at St. James AME Church, 444 Lincoln Ave., East Liberty. This event will celebrate 32 years of AAMI excellence. Entertainment will be provided by Jimmy Sapienza’s Five Guys Named Moe. Special Welcome Sunday

Inaugural Celebration
MARCH 22—The Western Pennsylvania COGIC Inc. will host the Inaugural Gala Celebration for Dr. Wilma Smith Beauford at 5 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Hotel, 777 Aten Rd., Coraopolis. This event will celebrate Dr. Beauford as the jurisdictional supervisor of women for the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Western Pa COGIC Inc. Mother Willie Mae Rivers, general supervisor of women of COGIC Inc., will be the guest speaker. Reservations are required. Friendship Luncheon
MARCH 28—New Birth Baptist Church, 406 W. Grant St., Duquesne, will host its Friendship Luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. On the last Saturday of each month, guests can enjoy a delicious free lunch and enlightening discussion. There will also be a clothing giveaway to benefit the needy in the Tri-State area. Clothing is limited to two items per person and no lunch takeouts are available.
