A man killed his best friend and cut off his penis because of perceived homosexual advances.
Mario Reyes in Chihuahua, Mexico, was walking his dog with his best friend, Mario Hernandez. The two men began arguing after spending most of the day drinking, the New York Daily News reported.
During that day, Hernandez paused and tried to make sexual advances on Reyes. Reyes was not having any of it. He later told authorities that he felt betrayed and tricked by his so-called friend. Reyes snapped. So when Hernandez went to off to use the bathroom some bushes, Reyes followed him.
Reyes reportedly shot his friend execution-style in the back of the head. After he was clearly dead, the Daily News reports that Reyes took out a knife and cut off his former friend’s penis and fed it to his dog.
Reyes went home and went to tried to go to sleep, but his conscience got the best of him. When he woke up the next morning, Reyes admitted to his his father that he had taken the life of another man because he felt violated for the surprising homosexual advances.
Reyes, wracked with guilty for the murder, tuned himself into authorities.
Reyes faces life in prison for his crime, the Daily News stated.
