The bride wore white and so did everyone else. So many are tempted to wear white to a wedding but you never want to upstage the bride. At the recent wedding of Solange Knowles and Alan Ferguson white attire was the order of the day but the bride and groom were not upstaged.
According to US Weekly, Solange wore a long white dress with a cape by Humberto Leon for Kenzo.
Prior to the wedding Solange and her fiancé rode white bikes through New Orleans while she wore a white Stephane Rolland jumpsuit.
She then changed into her gown for the ceremony in the Holy Trinity the dress she got married. The groom’s suit was by Lavin. Later in the evening, they took the party to the streets of the French Quarter where they danced and lit sparklers.
This is the second marriage for the 28-year-old singer. In 2004, she married Daniel Smith. The two share a son, Daniel “Julez” Smith, born that same year. See more wedding photos at Vogue.com
