It’s that time of year to help out your neighbors in Wilkinsburg by donating money or toys again this year for Wilkinsburg annual toy drive. Over the last 6 years, we have been able to give Christmas joy to over 1000 kids! Every year, we have seen a slight increase in numbers of those requesting items. We need your help to keep this going and add cheer to families that are struggling this year.
New and unwrapped toys may be dropped off at the Wilkinsburg Borough Building in the collection box within the Wilkinsburg Police Department. Monetary donations can be made online through https://grooveproductionsinc.com <https://grooveproductionsinc.com> or checks can be made out to Groove Productions and sent to the attention of Vanessa McCarthy-Johnson, 605 Ross Avenue, Wilkinsburg, PA 15221

Families must be residents of Wilkinsburg and provide residential proof. The age of the children that are eligible are 2 – 18. Individuals or families who would like to sign-up to receive toys must complete an application form, available at the Wilkinsburg Borough Building, 605 Ross Avenue, or call Vanessa at 412-867-5882. Last day for sign-ups will be December 18th at close of business (5:00 p.m.)
Representatives will also be available to collect application information on the following days:
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. December 2nd
3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. December 4th
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. December 9th
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. December 16th
Distribution Day will be on December 20th from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Wilkinsburg Borough Building. If you cannot make it on that day, please make arrangements to pick up your items as we will not hold them unless you have already spoken to a volunteer. Please make sure you bring the proper id information that is requested on the application.
