You gotta hand it to Kim Kardashian.
When she wants to get you talking and looking, she knows just what to do. And it real simple. Just show some skin!
So much so that yesterday (11-12-14) she broke the Internet with a full display of her ample oiled arse for Paper magazine.
Now, just 24-hours later, she’s back again wearing nothing but that smile and showing everything from the rooter to the tooter. Other than being being a straight up attention whore, we just don’t get why Kanye’s Mrs. is doing this and why is he going along with it?
Meanwhile, social media has responded with a flood of memes and opinions. While some are voicing support, there are others who feel Kimmy’s latest attempt to grab the spotlight is a shameful act for a mother to get down with.
Among her critics are Naya Rivera, who scolded Kim’s ass-packed cover shot on the reality TV fixture’s Instagram page, saying “I normally don’t. But… you’re someone’s mother.”
Following suit were Lorde, who summed her feelings about the pics with a one-word tweet (“Mom.”) and Chelsea Handler, who took it a step further by posting her own bare booty shot in a bathroom mirror, which wasn’t photo-shopped, on Instagram.
Despite all the back and forth, one thing is clear. Kim wins again. When we have more relevant and pressing things to talk about and devote our time and energy on, we have once again become pre-occupied with the best-looking Kardashian and the reason why she’s so famous.
But don’t get it twisted. Kim’s legions of admirers and fans are voicing their approval of the photos and will continue to stand by her, no matter what. Chief among them is Kanye, who issued his own one-word response to his wife’s latest display of assets in all caps.
“ALLDAY.”
While some may be shocked about Kanye expressing what he intends to do with his wife, is it really a surprise? Kimye aren’t the most media-shy couple around. And never turn down a chance to bring the spotlight their way. The only difference is that Kanye may threaten or hurt you if you catch him at the wrong time. But still….
Mission accomplished Kim. In the famous words of BBD: “Never trust a big butt and a smile.”
Especially when the fame and attention is more attractive than you or anything else.
