Man Stabbed at MARTA Station

A man was stabbed in the abdomen after an argument broke out just before 5 a.m. Wednesday morning at the North Avenue MARTA station, a spokesman for the transit told the media.
A man was injured and transported the hospital but it was deemed the stab wound was not life threatening, a MARTA spokesman revealed, according to Fox 5 News.
The perpetrator quickly dashed from the scene, but was later apprehended by the Atlanta Police Department.
Neither MARTA nor the APD revealed the names of the two individuals involved in the dispute or what sparked the violence. .
The spokesperson said rail service at the North Avenue station, located near the intersection with West Peachtree Street, did not experience any disruptions.
