Roberta Shields, the dynamic and beloved entrepreneur, businesswoman, manager and mother of rap superstar Ludacis, will imbue invaluable and inspirational life nuggets as the keynote speaker at the 6th Annual Sisters of Today and Tomorrow (SOT) event on Oct. 25, 2014.
Shields, who helped manage the early career of her son Luda and now heads the Ludacris Foundation, will be the SOT’s featured personality during their brunch celebration and Open House Recruitment orientation. She will discuss how she helped her famous son, actor, rapper and prolific philanthropist Ludacris to succeed through the three “C’s”: Cheering, Championing and Coaching.
“This is the time we recruit more girls (9-18) to join Sisters of Today and Tomorrow, exposing them to all the wonderful things our organization can offer to their development,” says Carla Morrison, the founder and executive director of SOT.
The event will take place at the Fulton County Government Center, 141 Pryor Street in downtown Atlanta at 11 a.m. Esteemed Fulton County Chairman Dr. John Eaves will deliver the welcome address and the luncheon will also feature a musical performance by the SOT members.
