CTSI Research Participant Registry—Children Can Participate in Research, Too!

kidsracing.jpg
The Research Participant Registry is a database of people who have volunteered to consider participating in research for themselves or their children. Our children are healthier now because of studies done in the past. Children in the future will benefit from what’s being learned today. We need children of different ages, genders, races and neighborhoods to participate in studies so that doctors know which treatments work best for certain groups of children. When you sign yourself or your children up for the registry, you will begin to receive a periodic newsletter. It describes research findings, details of the research process and a list of research studies that you may consider joining or allowing your child to join. Participation is voluntary and confidential. Participants can take themselves or their children off of the registry at any time.
