During what is unarguably one of the worst weeks in the history of the National Football League, superstar running back Adrian Peterson was indicted by a grand jury in Texas on charges of child abuse and child endangerment for whipping his 4-year-old son with a switch that left multiple marks and bruises on his body.
Peterson, one of the greatest running backs of all time, was deactivated by the Minnesota Vikings for the foreseeable future, mainly because the cultural temperature was so hot as a result of the Ray Rice domestic abuse debacle. That video was also released earlier in the week, creating a no-tolence level for player transgressions.
There is the possibility, according to sports and media pundits, that Peterson could not only go to jail, but he could be banned from the NFL for life.
The public debated the act of parental abuse and how feelings have changed about how spankings and paddling have gradually been outlawed in American society. The debate begins with a moronic set of statements by singer Tank, and also includes the words from comedian D.L. Hughley, who summarized what many Generation X blacks feel about their parents’ disciplinary philosophy.

Really Tank? Really?!?
