CHICAGO (AP) – DePaul University has chosen three graduates – all Chicago business executives – to serve on its 40-member board of trustees.
In a news release Wednesday, university officials say the new trustees are: Joe Adams, managing partner and CEO of McGladrey LLP; S. Biff Bowman, incoming chief financial officer of Northern Trust; and Timothy Knight, CEO of Wrapports LLC, which owns the Chicago Sun-Times and other publications.
The Rev. Dennis H. Holtschneider is president of DePaul University. He says the school’s governing board “is gaining the expertise of three exceptional leaders in their fields.”
DePaul is the largest Catholic university in the U.S., with more than 24,000 students.
Its board of trustees is tasked with shaping strategies to promote the university’s mission and values.
