It was another woman who came between Michael Strahan and his fiancée of five years, Nicole Murphy, if a new report is to be believed.
According to TMZ, a source, close to the couple, says Nicole first suspected Strahan was double dipping back in early July and started snooping around and was finally convinced he was guilty so last Friday she decided to go public.
Of course given the fact that same weekend Michael was about to receive the biggest accolade of his career so far – being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame – the timing of her announcement couldn’t have been worse.
However, the source says no matter what it looks like, she didn’t do it out of revenge. Rather, it was just a total coincidence.
Other sources say Murphy and Strahan have been broken up for several weeks — and, in fact, their bi-coastal relationship has been on and off for almost 2 years … since Michael took the job co-hosting ” Live! with Kelly and Michael.”
So far reps for Michael and Nicole are not commenting on the situation.
