Police are investigating a Marion, Ind., family after a 5-year-old girl was diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease. According to reports by NBC 33, the child was tested for an STD in early July, which is repulsive enough.
The test results reveal an even more repugnant fact: it was confirmed that the child had an STD in her mouth. Doctors immediately reported the results to local police. Officers hightailed it to that particular home and removed the 5-year-old along with a 2-year-old.
Police are reportedly closing in on family members and others with frequent contact with the 5-year-old.
Unfortunately, this disgusting act is not unprecedented. In 2013, Brandon Eaton, 18, of Greenwood, S.C., was sentenced to 20 years behind bars after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl and giving her an STD.
