Fresh off the elevator drama that she kinda, sorta finally spoke on, Solange Knowles is at the center of another family-centered drama.
This time, it’s her relationship with her good friend that’s in the spotlight. TMZ.com reports that although Solange was tight with TaQoya Branscomb, she had no idea Branscomb was engaged in intimate relations with her dad, Matthew Knowles. So much so that Branscomb is the alleged baby mama that’s suing the elder Knowles with claims he got her pregnant in 2010. For those keeping track, that was around the time that Matthew’s wife and Solange’s mother, Tina Knowles, filed for divorce.
It seems TaQoya and Solange started hanging out together on multiple occasions in nightclubs and bars in Houston after meeting through a stylist in 2008. The kicker to all of this is that Matthew knew Solange was friends with TaQoya, the site notes. And yet, Beyoncé’s little sister had no idea what was going on behind the scene.
As for Branscomb’s suit, she’s requesting a DNA test as well as a declaration of paternity and child support.
