Michael Strahan Gets Personal; Talks about his Nasty Divorce

Michael Strahan looks pretty happy on the cover of Ebony. The Demolition Man is one half of daytime’s “Live with Kelly and Michael,” after all.
But inside the magazine, Strahan talked about ex-wife Jean Muggli who he divorced eight years ago. 
Yes, eight years later, Strahan is opening up in Ebony’s August issue about the nasty divorce.
Muggli accused him of abuse, infidelity and neglecting their twin daughters. He denied the allegations and said she had a spending problem.
“When you get divorced, people get upset, angry and say crazy things,” he told the magazine. “You have to take it. But it wasn’t easy. It was hard as hell.”
But his experiences with his ex-wife helped him have a stronger relationship with fiancée Nicole Murphy – ex of Eddie Murphy and current star of “Hollywood Exes.”
“For us it’s key that we maintain normalcy,” Strahan said. “We have a great life. People can buy into their own celebrity, and that’s a dangerous thing.”
