Bad: Chris Rock infused electricity as the host of the BET Awards 2014, cracking his whip on a number of victims, most hilariously with Donald Sterling, Paris Hilton and Rick Ross. But, like Lil Wayne, his gratuitous use of the N-Word lost him points in an otherwise great job as a host.
Some took issue with his bit where he jokingly mocked Ellen DeGeneres’ stint as the Academy Awards host — she gave out pizza — and instead handed out chicken and waffles. Some believe it was a tasteless play on stereotypes, but I thought that was harmless. Besides, urbanites love Roscoes Chicken & Waffles.
