Oh what fun! The 2014 BET Awards are set to take place this Sunday, June 29 at 8 p.m. ET in L.A. and #TeamBeautiful will be on the red carpet to bring you exclusives from the celebrities you love!
With performances by everyone from Nicki Minaj to Usher, we’re literally counting down the hours until the annual event. If names like Trey Songz or Drake don’t get you excited, it is rumored that Chris Brown will also take to the stage! *Fans self*

Bring On The Laughs! Chris Rock To Host 2014 BET Awards

Chris Rock is set to host the annual ceremony with appearances by the hilarious Kevin Hart and possibly Tracy Morgan (who was allegedly set to make an appearance, but he was involved in a critical car accident). There will be laughter, memorable dance moves, quirky fashion and tears…OK, maybe not tears. Whatever happens this year, we’re ready for it.
To help you prepare, we’ve put together this all-encompassing guide to the show.
Check out the nominees:
Best Female R&B/Pop Artist
Beyoncé
Janelle Monáe
Jhené Aiko
K. Michelle
Rihanna
Tamar Braxton
We’re going to go with Beyonce on this one. She had an amazing year with the release of her album “Beyonce” (that broke the Internet), the super successful “Mrs. Carter World Tour” and the forthcoming “On The Run” tour with hubby Jay Z.

August Alsina
Chris Brown
John Legend
Justin Timberlake
Pharrell Williams
As much as we want to be noble and say Pharrell (because he’s having one hell of a year), we’re rolling with Chris Breezy. His song “Loyal” is this summer’s anthem and don’t you just love a redemption story?

Angel Haze
Charli Baltimore

Nicki Minaj. That is all!

Lee Daniels’ The Butler
Despite the mainstream success of films like “12 Years A Slave” and “Lee Daniels’ The Butler,” we’ve never seen a film quite like “Fruitvale Station” and would like to see it take home the gold.
