Beloved Felon Jeremy Meeks' Previous Mugshot Photos

Jeremy Meeks
It was the mug shot seen around the world. San Joaquin County (Calif.) Police Department had no idea what they were getting into when they posted a picture of Jeremy Meek’s mug shot on the department’s Facebook page on June 18. His chiseled features and blazing blue eyes became an immediate internet sensation despite the fact Meeks is a convicted felon who was arrested on five felony weapon charges, one gang charge, and one misdemeanor charge for resisting, obstructing or delaying a peace officer.
The Smoking Gun uncovered previous mugshots of the Stockton, Calif. native stemming from previous arrests. In 2002, Meeks was convicted of grand theft from a person in Solano County, Calif., and sentenced to two years in state prison, the San Joaquin County District Attorney said in a statement.
So popular is Meeks’ mugshot that it has inspired a frenzy on Facebook and Instagram.
In 2009, Meeks was arrested again, more resembling the physical man of today who set the ladies’ hearts ablaze
On June 20, Jeremy was arraigned, assigned a public defender and held under a near-milion-dollar bail, ostensibly stemming from police reports that he is a drug kingpin and a member of the infamous Crips street gang, something Meeks vehemently denies.
Take a look at Meeks’ previous mugshots.
