According to the American Psychological Association, 60 percent of adults were trying to reduce their stress in 2012 — and more than half of them were failing at it. What’s more, 60 to 90 percent of doctor visits are for stress-related conditions, according to the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
