Patience is paramount as you haul the spouses, tikes and friends to major festivals in the Capital of the South. The 2014 Caribbean Festival held its own in direct competition with the 37th annual Atlanta Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park and the weekend Atlanta Braves games.
With islanders flossing vestiges of their culture, clothing, goods, drinks and delightful foods from the likes of Jamaica, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Caribbean Festival and parade dazzled thousands and the attendees delighted in the unique exotic culture of Caribbean American imports in Atlanta.
