BURTON, MICHIGAN – Sable A. Butler, of Catasauqua was recently crowned the 2014 Miss Pennsylvania U.S. International titleholder. She will go on to compete against other state delegates at the national 2014 Miss U.S. International pageant in Orlando, Florida. For the next year, Butler will represent the state of Pennsylvania. The winner of the Miss U.S. International pageant will go on to compete against 70 other women from their respective countries at the international finals held in Okinawa, Japan next fall.
25 year old, Sable Butler is a licensed Cosmetologist and Cosmetology Teacher and print/runway model who was recently featured in her first television commercial.
Sable attended Swiftwater Intermediate School. She graduated with honors from Pocono Mountain East High School. Growing up in the Pocono Mountains, she names a few of her favorite places Camelback Mountain, The Crossings Premium Outlet, Bushkill Falls and downtown Stroudsburg. Sable graduated from Stroudsburg School of Cosmetology (Vision Beauty Academy) and completed her teaching studies at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Allentown.

She is an active member of Templo El Refugio, a church for all the nations, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and serves as a youth leader for Warriors of the Kingdom. She is the recipient of a Pennsylvania State Citation for her volunteerism. She mentors cosmetology students at Monroe Career and Technical Institute. Sable was selected nationally for the popular charity/workout app, Charity Miles, as one of it’s first All Star members.The three words that best describe Sable are fun, friendly and compassionate.
Sable’s favorite hobbies are DIY projects, playing guitar, reading, exercising, collecting cookbooks and spending time with her family and friends. She has been fortunate to visit many cities across Pennsylvania. Sable is excited to revisit Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, York, Harrisburg, Scranton, WilkesBarre, Reading,Johnstown and the surrounding areas.
The final competition consists of two proportional segments: evening gown and swimsuit. Eligible women must meet the age and citizenship requirements to be in the international pageant. During the national competition, a panel of judges will score the contestants on beauty, charm, personality and poise.
The Miss U.S. International pageant is the official preliminary to the MISS INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY PAGEANT® event.

MISS INTERNATIONAL began in 1960 in Long Beach, California when the Miss Universe pageant left the city to be held in Miami, Florida.
