Baseball player Carl Crawford should be enjoying spending time with his newborn son with his fiancee VH1 reality star Evelyn Lozada. However, he is in court battling his first baby mama over a child support increase.
Crawford and his ex Amy Freeman are in court because Amy says she can’t support their two young children with the five thousand dollars she receives from Crawford every month. Freeman is asking that the child support payments be increased temporarily to fifteen thousand dollars a month for their nine-year-old son and ten-month-old daughter.
Forking over fifteen thousand dollars a month would seem like a steep price to pay every month, but Crawford is a special case because he signed a contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers for $142 million.
A judge has yet to rule in the case.
