Mariah Covers Billboard Magazine
Not many artists (or people for that matter) can pull off a beautiful headshot like Mariah Carey. She looks flawless on the cover of Billboard Magazine…almost heyday like. The glittery one and her new manager (old friend and current producer) Jermaine Dupri opened up about the struggle to create a buzz around her forthcoming digital album, her turbulent “American Idol” stint with Nicki Minaj and her shoulder injury that left her wearing bedazzled slings.
Mariah is well aware of her failed singles–”Triumphant,” “Almost Home,” “Eternal [You're Mine]“ and “Beautiful” Ft. Miguel (if you ask us)–and enlisted a squad of producers like Rodney Jerkins and Dupri as the foundation for her upcoming release. The album also features “a special guest star that I’m not allowed to reveal,” she teased.
So what can we expect from Mimi’s upcoming collection? Billboard says, “big ballads and uptempo bangers.” And, the mother of two plans on dropping the album straight Beyonce style (you know, with no notice), which means she’ll be “revealing her new album’s title, track listing, artwork and music all at once via to-be-announced digital partners.”
We can’t get enough of Mariah, she’s a freakin’ legend. Can’t wait to hear the new disc!
