Atlanta Rapper/Actor Childish Gambino Releases 'Chicken and Futility'

Childish GambinoStone Mountain’s own Childish Gambino, also known as Donald Glover to fans of his comedy, TV show “Community” or the Youtube video “Bro Rape,” is back with a brand new short film, “Chicken and Futility.” The three-minute film shows Glover and two friends discussing Chick-fil-A, moths and the moon — while spending a lazy Sunday indoors. The short was written and directed by Childish Gambino, and produced by Complex Media, Huffington Post reports.
It’s Gambino’s second directing project. In 2013, he released a 24-minute short film titled, “Clapping for the Wrong Reasons,” in which he starred alongside Chance The Rapper and Danielle Fishel.
Glover will be leaving “Community” this season, only appearing in five of the scheduled 13 episodes in season five, to pursue new projects like his career as a budding rapper and entertainer. In 2013, he announced that he would be creating and starring in a new show for FX, tentatively titled “Atlanta.” In December of 2013, he released his latest studio album , “Because the Internet.”
