Ice Cube, Kevin Hart Visit Midtown's Sublime Doughnuts, Hang With Atlanta Police Officers

Ice Cube Kevin Hart APDIt appears time heals all wounds. The man made famous by his song “F*** Tha Police” was in Atlanta this week with the co-star of his new buddy cop pic to dine on some donuts with Atlanta’s finest.
Rapper/actor Ice Cube and actor/comedian Kevin Hart were in Atlanta this week promoting their upcoming movie “Ride Along.” As part of the meet and greet for the movie’s opening, the duo spent some time taking pictures with officers the Atlanta Police Department at Sublime Doughnuts in Midtown. The movie, which was filmed in Atlanta, opens in theaters around the country on Friday.
The plot for “Ride Along,” according to movieinsider.com is below (in case you haven’t figured it out from the endless trailers airing on TV):
When a tough undercover officer’s (Ice Cube) future brother-in-law (Kevin Hart) joins him on an overnight shift, the wisecracking trainee gets accidentally embroiled in the seasoned cop’s latest case. Now, in order to prove that he is worthy of his future bride, he must survive the most insane night of his life.
Even though the movie hasn’t yet opened, Cube and Hart are reportedly talking sequel.  The Washington Post reports:
“I think we’ll definitely do it again, especially if y’all liked the movie and y’all want to see a Part 2,” rapper and actor Ice Cube said during a question-and-answer session Thursday night in Chicago.
Asked by an audience member how they would maintain the flair of “Ride Along” in a sequel, Ice Cube said, “When we do the sequel, we’re not going to be borrowing jokes from the first one. … We’re going to do a whole new movie that’s going to be fresh and fly.”
I guess Cube’s no longer got it bad because he’s brown.
