Cynthia Bailey, one of the stars of Real Housewives of Atlanta earlier revealed to Life & Style magazine, that her husband, Peter Thomaswas on the brink of cheating and leaving.
The real issue was that they weren’t having sex, Bailey said, telling the magazine that she lost her sex drive because of bloating and discomfort due to the fibroids. Sometimes they went three months without being intimate.
“Me and my buddies were planning a trip to Venezuela because nobody knows us there,” Peter says, talking about how he considered cheating on Cynthia.
But now, post surgery, things are better — and hotter — than ever.
“We’re intimate a lot more now and it feels great,” says Cynthia.
She confesses that the past two years have been hell, considering she was diagnosed with fibroids — non-cancerous tumors that develop in the uterus – and she gained 20 pounds suddenly. Bailey tells the tabloid that it tested the marriage.
She says in the interview that had she not undergone corrective surgery this summer — we just saw the surgery play out on the show — Peter would have been gone with the wind.
“We’d be divorced for sure,” Bailey told the magazine.
Peter’s quick to agree.
“I know we would have been done. There is absolutely no way we could have survived another year if things hadn’t changed,” he added.
