Honorees for the 2014 Trumpet Awards and International Civil Rights Walk of Fame will be announced on Tuesday, the awards’ foundation announced.
Awardees will be announced by Trumpet Awards Foundation, Inc. and Xernona Clayton, Chair , President, Creator and CEO of the Trumpet Awards and Trumpet Foundation at a press conference scheduled for Dec. 10.
The Annual Trumpet Awards was created to celebrate and honor African-American achievers in diverse fields including law, medicine, the arts, civil service, business, entrepreneurship, politics, entertainment and other careers.
The press conference will be held at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis at 10:00 a.m. The award ceremony happens in metro Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on January 25, 2014.
