Rep. John Lewis Announces Upcoming Congress in the Community Events

Every Tuesday Rep. John Lewis brings the work of his congressional office to his constituents through a series of Congress in the Community Events.

Rep. Lewis will be holding his next Congress in the Community event on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at the Dogwood Branch of the Atlanta-Fulton County Public Library, located at 1838 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy in Atlanta. The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The following Congress in the Community Events will be held on Sept. 3 at the Georgia Hill branch, 250 Georgia Ave SE, Atlanta, and on Sept. 10 at the Hapeville Branch, 525 King Arnold Street, Hapeville.

Each Congress in the Community event is an opportunity for 5th District residents to get advice or assistance with challenges they may have involving the federal government from Rep. Lewis’s experienced constituent services staff. They can also use this opportunity to communicate any concerns they may have.

The event is manned by members of Rep. Lewis’s office who will be on hand at the library to meet with constituents. No appointment is necessary. For more information call 404-659-0116.
