Detroit Primary Election Guide 2013

On Tuesday, August 6, 2013 Detroit voters will get the chance to have their voices heard by voting in the primary elections for city mayor, city council and other offices.

Voter’s Information:

  • Polls open: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Anyone in line before the polls close will be allowed to vote.
  • Absentee ballots: They are still available at the city’s Department of Elections, 2978 W. Grand Blvd., from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. Where to vote: Find your polling precinct location here.

In addition, Detroit Public TV collaborated with the University of Michigan-Dearborn and the League of Women Voters to develop a comprehensive voter guide at MiVotes.org.
