Detroit Mayoral Candidates To Debate Tuesday

Detroit mayoral candidates are set to debate Tuesday, at The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and Co-Sponsored by WWJ Newsradio 950.

Write-in candidate Mike Duggan along with Benny Napoleon, Lisa Howze, Krystal Crittendon, and Tom Barrow head the list of those who have accepted invitations to participate in the debate. It is expected that as many as 7 other candidates will also participate.

 The Mayoral Debate will be moderated by WWJ Newsradio 950 Morning Drive Anchor, Tom Jordan, with the panel consisting of Detroit News Editorial Page Editor, Nolan Finley, Detroit Free Press Editorial Page Editor Stephen Henderson, and Debbie Dingell, President of d2 Strategies.

Finley stated, “This will be one of the more unusual and important mayoral elections in recent Detroit history, and I am happy to be a part of helping Detroiters make an informed choice.”

The debate will be 8-9:30 p.m. and aired live on WWJ-AM (950) and WADL-TV (Channel 38).
