A Los Angeles judge has revoked Chris Brown’s probation, but the singer was not ordered to jail. Brown’s lawyer suggested Monday that perhaps the matter will be resolved informally without a major probation hearing.
The prosecutor did not ask for Brown to be jailed.
The hearing stems from a May 12 traffic accident in which he is suspected of rear-ending a car stopped at a red light in the San Fernando Valley and refusing to give the other driver his license or insurance information.
Brown is currently on felony probation from the 2009 beating of his former girlfriend Rhianna.
Prior to the case Chris Brown took to twitter asking his followers for their prayers.
Another hearing is set for Aug. 16
