Former Braves players will be in town to attend the fourth annual Alumni Weekend when the Braves go head to head the Arizona Diamondbacks.

More than 50 legends will be visiting June 28-30 for the yearly celebration as former third baseman Chipper Jones is inducted into Braves Hall of Fame. He will be the eleventh number to be retired by the Braves.

“The Braves Alumni Weekend is a unique opportunity for fans to see the stars they grew up cheering for,” said John Schuerholz, Atlanta Braves President. “We Cherish the legacies of our former players ad are excited to welcome them back each season, especially this year as we honor one of our greats, Chipper Jones.”

Jones’ induction ceremony will be held at the Atlanta Marriot Marquis before Friday night’s game, where Braves Alumni will greet fans and sign autographs.

Saturday Afternoon, the former players will come together and face-off for the Legends Softball Game. The game starts at 2:10 p.m. Fans will get the chance to watch batting practice prior to the game. On Sunday, alumni photo sessions will be held at Fan Plaza 11:30.

Some of the players expected to attend are Jose Alvarez, Paul Assenmacher, Brian Jordan, Johnny Estrada, Mike Bell, Steve Bedrosian, Denny Neagle, and many more. For Further information on the event, you can visit the Braves website.
