Three Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Stewart Cink, Matt Kuchar and Larry Mize, will be competing for the opportunity to put on the ‘green jacket’ in the 77th Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club.

Stewart Cink, a six time winner on the PGA Tour, finished third in Augusta back in2008 while Matt Kuchar finished third in last year’s Masters. The two have a combined 21 Masters appearances.

Larry Mize, a native of Augusta, will be playing in his 30th Masters. Currently competing on the Champions Tour, Mize hit one of the most memorable shots in Masters’ history when he chipped a shot 140 feet on the second playoff hole to triumph over Greg Norman for the 1987 Masters title.

The prestigious tournament will begin Thursday with television coverage of the first two rounds broadcasting on ESPN and the weekend rounds on CBS.
