As Atlanta prepares for 100,000 college hoops fans to descend on the city – and hopefully a $70 million business boost – residents should prepare for a number of street closures in the city.
The Atlanta Police Department has outlined road closures that will be in place to accommodate the crowds, beginning Wednesday. The full list of closures, starting Wednesday and Thursday is below:
Wednesday – Thursday
Lane Closures
• East curb lane of Park Avenue West between Marietta Street and Baker Street from 12 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. daily. One-way traffic allowed from Baker Street toward Marietta Street.
• Both east bound lanes of Baker Street between Luckie Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive from 12 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. daily. One-way traffic allowed from Centennial Olympic Park Drive toward Luckie Street.
Monday – Tuesday
Street Closure
• Nassau Street between Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Spring Street starting 8 a.m. on April 1 through 12 p.m. April 9.

• Park Avenue West between Marietta Street and Baker Street. from 12 a.m. until 11:59 p.m.
