Atlanta Dream Games To Be Televised Once Again By Fox Sports South, SportSouth

The Atlanta Dream recently announced it has renewed its television partnership with FOX Sports South and SportSouth for the 2013 WNBA season. With the renewal, all Dream home games and a number of road games will be televised on the sports networks.

“We are excited to continue our broadcast partnership with FOX Sports South and SportSouth, providing our fans across the Southeast the ability to continue watching our exciting, fast-paced brand of basketball,” said Dream CEO Ashley Preisinger. “We’re thrilled to provide our fans the ability to watch Atlanta Dream games for a fourth consecutive season in high-definition on two regional sports networks recognized as the leaders in local sports programming.”

The telecast schedule begins with the Dream season opener at home against the Tulsa Shock on Saturday, May 25 at 7 p.m. (ET). Both home games against Tamika Catchings and the defending WNBA champion Indiana Fever, on June 25 and Sept. 4), will be televised as well.

Other key televised matchups from Philips Arena include visits by WNBA stars Maya Moore and the Minnesota Lynx on Aug. 20, Candace Parker and the Los Angeles Sparks on Aug. 2, and Diana Taurasi and Phoenix Mercury on Sept. 8. The full TV schedule will be announced at a later date.
