Gospel musician and host of BET’s Sunday Best, Kirk Franklin has a new gig these days. The renowned gospel artist and choir director will now serve as co-host of the Game Show Network’s Bible trivia show The American Bible Challenge. according to reports from Clutch.
The American Bible Challenge premiered last season with record-breaking ratings for Game Show Network — 1.7 million viewers. Its second season begins on March 21st featuring Franklin, with Gospel choir in tow, alongside current host Jeff Foxworthy.
“The show is a fresh and fun approach to celebrating the Word of God,” Franklin told Deadline, ” and being able to provide an element of praise, worship and honor is both exciting and humbling.”
