Hicks Leads Lady Panthers to Top Miles College For 3rd Consecutive Win

Behind the play of junior point Conisha Hicks, the Clark Atlanta University Lady Panthers win their third consecutive game with a 55-51 victory over Miles College at Epps Gymnasium Wednesday.

Hicks dropped a game-high 16 points on 50 percent shooting from behind the arc to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and four steals. Erika Sumpter pulled down 11 rebounds and added eight points for the Lady Panthers. With the win CAU improves to an 8-8 overall record and remains third in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). Enria Samuels led the Lady Bears with a team-high 13 points.

Next, the Lady Panthers will host Paine College in a 6 p.m, match-up Saturday, Jan. 26th, and the men’s team will follow at 8 p.m.
