Atlanta Falcons Announce Holiday Community Events

The Falcons players and coaching staff will be busy in the community this holiday season as they chase a Super Bowl. Below is a full list of who, what, when and where the Falcons will be during the season of giving.

Atlanta Falcons safety Charles Mitchell and wide receiver Marcus Jackson will perform a holiday musical concert for the residents at the Lanier Village Estates Retirement Community in Gainesville . Mitchell will play the electronic keyboard while Jackson will play the drums. The event will conclude with autographs and photographs with the players.

When: Monday, December 17, 2 p.m.

Where: Lanier Village Estates – 4000 Village View Drive , Gainesville , GA 30506

Atlanta Falcons fullbacks Mike Cox and Bradie Ewing, along with their spouses, will host a holiday party for patients at The Shepherd Center in Atlanta . The party will include a holiday dinner, gifts, music and other fun-filled activities.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Michael Palmer will treat nine military families to a special night at Dave & Busters at Sugarloaf Mills Mall in Duluth . The families will play games and eat dinner alongside Palmer. Additionally, Palmer will surprise each family with gifts for the holidays. The families were identified by Operation Homefront of Georgia which provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of service members and wounded warriors.

When: Monday, December 17, 7 p.m.

Where: Dave & Buster’s – 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway #441 , Lawrenceville , GA 30043

The Atlanta Falcons linebackers, led by Mike Peterson and the Mike Peterson Foundation, will treat children from the Atlanta Police Athletic League and Mission on the Move to a holiday shopping spree at the Wal-Mart in Oakwood. The players will provide the children with a unique opportunity to shop for holiday gifts for themselves and their families.
