Oprah sits down with Jamie Foxx in New York City for the most personal and revealing one-on-one interview the actor, comedian and musician has ever done. Oprah talks to Jamie about growing up in Terrell, Texas where he was raised by his grandparents and trained in classical piano, and what happened there that changed the way he viewed life.

Jamie also talks about his rise to fame, the impact that director Oliver Stone’s criticism had on his career and why he won’t let fame go to his head — again. The Oscar winner also dishes on relationships and why he hasn’t gotten married. Later, Jamie and Oprah drop in on the lunch crowd at The Soho House.

Part 2 of Jamie Foxx on Oprah’s Next Chapter airs the following Sunday, December 23, at 9pm EST/PST on OWN:Oprah Winfrey Network. Topics include his breakout role in the upcoming film Django Unchained, his family, life at home and his daughter, Corrinne, who stops by to talk to Oprah about what it is like having Jamie Foxx as a father.
