Rookie Forward Mike Scott Recalled by Hawks from Bakerfield Jam

The Atlanta Hawks have recalled rookie forward Mike Scott from the Bakersfield Jam, their NBA Development League affiliate, Hawks President of Basketball Operations/General Manager Danny Ferry announced today.

Scott was assigned on Dec. 1st and started four games for the Jam, averaging 13.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 29.0 minutes (.541 FG%, .684 FT%). Scott is a 6’8″ power forward drafted by the Hawks from the University of Virginia in the second round.

In last night’s win at Reno, the 6-foot-9 forward put in 21 points (7-9 FGs, 7-7 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 31 minutes of action.

He will join the team in Orlando, and will be available for tomorrow night’s game against the Magic.
