Greater Works Assembly Hosts "Worship in Pink" Service

Elder Juakena Winston and Greater Works Assembly 3645 Southside Industrial Parkway, Atlanta, GA, 30354 are hosting their 2nd Annual “Worship in Pink” Service to recognize breast cancer conquerors and their children. The service will be held Sunday, October 28th at 10 a.m.

These “Victors of Life” will be honored along with those who have championed the fight against breast cancer by raising awareness of, and contributions to, breast cancer research.

The release of 500 balloons will be staged for those who are remembered, those who are fighting and those who have survived. To raise praise to higher heights for healing and deliverance, the youth of Greater Works Assembly will lead a celebration with song, dance and high praise in tribute to children who have championed this cause with a parent and/ or loved one.

“We seek to act as a voice for children of those who have been stricken with this disease. Often times, their struggle is overshadowed by the overwhelming needs of the disease. These children fight alongside their parents or loved ones and many times their emotional needs go unmet. It’s time for the church community to aggressively join the fight to save lives! We need more testimonies of triumphs for this cause!” said Elder Winston.
