Curley M. Dossman, Jr. is now Chairman of the Board of Directors of 100 Black Men of America, the governing body over 118 chapters who provide mentoring, education, health and wellness and economic empowerment services to youth, families and communities globally.
Dossman has been an active member of the 100 for many years and a long-standing executive officer of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. The Installation Ceremony took place at the Ritz Carlton Atlanta where Dossman was sworn in by James E. Graves, Jr., Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Presidents and members of chapter leadership teams traveled from across the U.S. and London to participate in this historic moment in the organization’s history. Area business leaders, dignitaries and educators were in attendance to wish Mr. Dossman well on one of his most important leadership roles.
Chairman Dossman reminded attendees that the 10,000 member organization’s strength is that collectively they deliver one mission, one cause and one network to many communities. “As we move forward and build on our success, we will enhance how we deliver on our core mission and cause, as we expand our network through strategic partnerships and collaborations,” stated Dossman.
In an inspiring inaugural speech, Mr. Dossman advised that he was the fifth President of the Atlanta chapter, and now he proudly becomes the fifth Chairman of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. and he is committed to growing the services and programmatic initiatives of the 100. His professional experience, business acumen, leadership assignments in various other nonprofit organizations, and service on numerous community boards have uniquely prepared him for this position. Dossman is currently president of the Georgia Pacific Foundation where he has served since 1995.
