The Atlanta Business League (ABL) will encourage local entrepreneurs and business owners to “Go for the Gold” during its 2012 Super Tuesday Conference, September 25, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Along with a plenary session featuring noted speakers Les Brown and his daughter Ona Brown, the conference will include motivating business seminars and a luncheon honoring outstanding African American women business owners.
“We are excited to present a day of empowerment and enlightenment as we present some of the most accomplished entrepreneurs and business owners sharing their best business practices and success stories in workshops and seminars. We also look forward to acknowledging some of the best and brightest female entrepreneurs during the 28th Annual Super Tuesday awards luncheon,” said Leona Barr-Davenport, ABL president and CEO.
The conference will be held 8:00 am until 5:00 pm at the Marriott Marquis, located at 265 Peachtree Center in downtown Atlanta. Highlights include the opening plenary presentation by nationally recognized motivational speakers Les and Ona Brown. They will address the theme, “One Great Day: Ready. Set. Gold!” Concurrent workshops and seminars on key entrepreneurial topics in business will be held from 9:10 a.m. until 12:30 pm:
The Super Tuesday Awards luncheon begins promptly at 12:30 p.m. with awards presented in the following categories: Millennium Pacesetter, Home Office Business Achievement, Success Against The Odds, Non-Traditional Business Enterprise and Outstanding Achievement Award (Woman of the Year).
