Kids enjoy new playground at Woodruff Park after recent dedication. The new playground was dedicated by Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Councilman Kwaaza Hall, and other Atlanta officials, including the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Central Atlanta Progress, Norfolk Southern, and Atlanta Structures, who designed the playground. The kids are joined by ATL mascots, who were featured at the dedication Tuesday, July 17. The downtown Margaret Mitchell Park across from Georgia Pacific was also renovated and dedicated in an event moderated by Atlanta Cultural Affairs Director Camille Russell-Love.
